National Health Policy on Tobacco
The National Health Policy on Tobacco in Australia is a joint Commonwealth State/Territory initiative which aims to improve the health of all Australians by eliminating or reducing their exposure to tobacco in all its forms. This policy was adopted by all Commonwealth, State/Territory health and law enforcement ministers at the Ministerial Council on Drug Strategy meeting in March 1991.
